How much is shipping & handling?

For USA customers, the cost of shipping is $4.90 for your entire order. Your order will be sent to our office in Mattawan, MI upon completion and dispatched to your shipping address via USPS.

For customers outside the USA, shipping costs vary between $15.90 and $25.90.

What are accepted methods of payment?

We accept most major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express), PayPal, checks, and money orders.

Please be aware that if you choose to pay per check or money order, your order will be placed on hold until your payment has cleared. Any bounced checks are subject to a $45 processing fee.

How long will it take to get my glasses?

We start your order within 24 hours of receiving it, but the time your order takes to complete and be shipped depends on your choice of lenses.

For example, prescriptions filled with simple stock lenses are finished quicker than prescriptions that require progressive lenses that have to be custom made for you.

Regardless, we strive for a 2 to 3 week delivery time. It's rare that glasses take longer than that to get to our customers.

How do I save my prescription?

You can choose to save your prescription to your account on our website for quicker, more convenient shopping next time around. You can do this 2 different ways.

1. Using "My Prescriptions"

Once you're logged in on the site, click the "My Account" link in the top right corner of the page. Then, navigate to "My Prescriptions" in the menu on the left. Then, either create or select the profile under which to save your prescription. Then, create a new prescription and enter the values.

2. During Check Out:

Fill in your prescription details, including your PD. Then check the box next to "Save this prescription".

A new line will appear. Here you enter the name to identify the prescription and the date the prescription was taken. Then click the orange "Save prescription" button.

You can save more than one prescription to your account.

I made a mistake entering my prescription! What now?

As soon as you discover your mistake, contact us. You can choose to chat with us, call us at (269) 290-7735 or email us at Please have your order number ready.

After 24 hours the manufacturing of your glasses has already begun, and you may be subject to a charge to have the correct prescription inserted into your glasses.

Will Visio-Rx sell my information to 3rd parties?

We hate spam as much as you do. We never sell our customer information to anyone or anything. For more information, check out our privacy policy.

Are my credit card number and other billing information safe?

We use a secure transaction server through PayPal, which guarantees the safety of sensitive personal information. We also have SSL encryption on our site.

How can I check out?

Once you've finished shopping, checking out is easy. Go to "My Cart" in the upper right hand corner of your screen. Review the contents of your cart, and then click on the orange "Proceed to Checkout" button. This will take you to the payment page.

On the payment page, choose your preferred method of paying, enter the required information and click on the orange "Place Order" button. When you see the confirmation page, you've succesfully placed your order.

The shipping cost printed on my label is different than what I was charged. Why?

Keep in mind that we ship all orders in 2 steps:

  1. First, we ship every order to our office in Michigan.
  2. Second, orders are taken to the post office, and mailed from Michigan to each individual customer's shipping address.

The shipping price that is printed on your box only represents the shipping cost for the second step in the shipping process.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we do. If you do not see your country listed for shipping, please contact our customer service and we will add it to our selection.
